About NetNet
NetNet, Inc. is a subsidiary of Nsight
Telservices, a local telecommunications company that
has served northeast Wisconsin for three generations. Begun in
1910 as Pulaski Farmers and Merchants, Nsight Telservices has
grown and expanded over the decades to keep pace with the evolution
of telecommunications services. NetNet provides Internet access
to customers throughout
northeastern Wisconsin.
The origins of NetNet date to early 1994. Aware of Nsight's commitment to customer-driven services and its desire to stay on the cutting edge of technology, the Pulaski school district approached
Nsight with a request for Internet service. Nsight Telservices had already been studying the requirements to launch an Internet service, and immediately agreed to provide a connection. NetNet
was in operation within months of the school's request, and in August of 1994 it was the first Internet provider in northeast Wisconsin.
While originally providing access to the Green Bay area, NetNet has expanded its services by partnering with five regional independent telephone companies to provide access to their customers.
Through Nsight's backbone, Lakefield Telephone provides Internet access to the Manitowoc and Two Rivers area. Bayland Telephone Company services Abrams, Oconto and Oconto Falls. Manawa receives
access from Manawa Telephone Company. Wittenberg Telephone services Wittenberg, and Niagara customers receive Internet access through Niagara Telephone.
NetNet, along with sister companies Cellcom, Northeast Telephone Company, Nsight
Long Distance, NET Cable, St. Paul Tower, and Local Nsight, is dedicated to maintaining the ideals outlined
in Nsight Telservice's Vision Statement:
"Nsight Telservices, Inc. will remain true to the high ethical standards of its heritage. This includes trust from its peers, integrity to its customers, honesty and fairness
to its employees and betterment of its communities."
